Brook Taylor, and he is the Reviews Editor of The Northern Mariner / Le Marin du nord, the journal of the Canadian Nautical Research Society.
Assistant professor at the Département d'histoire et de géographie of Université de Moncton. His research focuses on the social history of African Americans, in particular in the context of the northern migration to the cities (1865-1930) and the Freedmen's Bureau labor policies in Reconstruction Tennessee. His work has been published in journals such as the Canadian Review of American Studies (1991, 1998, Cahiers d'histoire (1991, 1994), and Vizimage (1989). |
